This release provides several improvements to the Content Control Lists that can be used in the Sophos Email Appliance's Data Control rules.
Configurable number of CCL hits: Instead of a rule triggering after a single CCL match, you can now configure how many CCLs have to match before a rule is triggered. You can also require that all the CCLs you have chosen for the rule should match before it is triggered.
Changes to the CCL interface: the CCL page in the Data Control Policy Wizard has been changed, with several tabs added. These hold some new controls, and also let some existing functions (like logging) be moved from popup dialogs to a unified interface. This lets you configure a CCL rule in a single place, without opening and closing popups.
Configuration options on tabs: two of the tabs have the new configuration options to let you select which part or parts of each message will be matched with: the message body, the subject or any attachments to the message.
Logging has been moved to a tab: previously, a popup dialog let you configure the logging capabilities for CCLs, but now this has been moved to its own tab, where it's readily accessible.
These new features further extend the capabilities of the Email Appliance.
